As a tutoring referral company, all our tutors are free to set their own rates, as well as their own hours and meeting locations. This allows our tutors and clients to talk directly to each other when arranging classes, or when making changes to their schedule. However, a fair wage for tutors is important to us. We recommend the following standard rates to our tutors:
| One-on-one tutoring | $45 per hour |
Group Classes:
| 2 students | $28 each per hour |
| 3 students | $21 each per hour |
| 4 students | $17 each per hour |
| 5 or more students | $14 each per hour |
Our tutors may request an additional mileage or time-based travel fee to cover their time and expenses, if you are meeting outside their home. Please ask your tutor if this applies.
Scheduling
If any scheduled classes must be changed, please let your tutor know as soon as possible. Classes are typically not scheduled on public holidays. However, most tutors are willing to accommodate students who request additional classes. Classes can be rescheduled at any time at no additional charge, depending on the availability of the tutor.
Cancellations
We recommend that teachers charge classes cancelled the same day at full rate, and that classes cancelled the day before or earlier are not charged.
