Evergreen Education is a group of tutors who have teamed together to offer students the best of both worlds: the personal rapport and flexibility of a private tutor with the diverse range of subjects, for all ages and education levels, offered by tutoring firms.
We offer tutoring in all levels of math, science, English and language arts, Spanish, French, Latin and ELL. We encourage students to improve their study and organizational skills, and can prepare them for SAT, ISEE, GRE and many other tests. We have tutors for all educational needs, ability levels and learning styles. In the past we have worked with students with ADD, dyslexia and dysgraphia, as well as gifted and accelerated students. Some of our tutors have experience with students returning to their studies after drug rehabilitation. We also offer home-school teaching and curriculum consultation for parents who are home-schooling their children. We have tutors in north and south Seattle, as well as in Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish and Issaquah.
We are all professional educators who have had prior experience in public and private schools, in working as tutors for large companies or as the primary educator for homeschooling families. We are patient and positive, and help students gain self-confidence. And, of course, we all have many years experience in private, one-on-one tutoring.
Our tutors are free to set their own rates, however we consider $45 per hour as standard. Some tutors may offer a discount for multiple hours per week, or for groups of two or more students.
